A Message from the Director
For forty–eight (48) years, Johnson C. Smith University has committed to hosting the Upward Bound Program on its campus. I am grateful and humbled to be the Director of this premier program that has been instrumental in providing hundreds of modest income and/or first-generation students the skills and motivation necessary for high school completion, college entrance, and graduation from a multitude of colleges and universities. Indeed, hundreds have pursued higher education and are now professionals in every imaginable field of study.
